15 Minute Kheema Pav Sloppy Joes

Cooking time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
- ½ pound ground lamb
- ½ tsp cooking oil
- Handful of chopped cilantro
- 2 tbsp Smoki Garam Masala
- 1 red onion, sliced
- ½ a lime, in wedges
- 1 tsp tomato ketchup
- 1 tomato, grated (can use ¼ cup of canned tomato instead)
- 4 dinner buns
- 1 tbsp butter
Method:
- Heat a pan over a high heat. When it’s hot, add the oil, and then add the lamb. Cook until just starting to brown, 3-4 minutes. Add the grated tomato, tomato ketchup, and cook for a further minute. Add the Smoki and cilantro, stir to combine, and set aside.
- Heat another pan over a medium heat, and add the butter. Place the buns, cut side down in the pan, and allow to toast, 2-3 minutes.
- To serve, serve the buns alongside the kheema, onions, and lime. Use the bread to scoop up the kheema, or make cute lil sandwiches.
