Prep time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:ย
- Store bought pack of puff pastry
- 1/2lb (227g) ground pork
- 3 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 4 tbsp Sacha-ish Chili Miso Condiment
- Half a can of store bought tomato sauce
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 tsp black sesame seeds
Method:ย
- In a bowl, add the breadcrumbs, salt, and 3 tbsp of Sacha-ish Chili Miso to the ground pork, and mix vigorously until evenly combined.ย
- Take a square of the puff pastry dough, and cut it in half. Spread half the sausage mix in a roughly sausage shaped line across the length of the dough. Brush egg along one side of the dough, and then fold the dough over the sausage mix. Press the dough to seal it, and trim off any excess, if needed. Brush the top with egg, and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.ย
- Repeat with the remaining sausage mix and pastry.ย
- Bake at 400f for 20-25 mins, until golden brown, crispy and cooked through.ย
- While the sausage rolls cook, make the sauce. Simply mix the tomato sauce with the remaining Sacha-ish, and set aside.
- Allow to cool to room temp, and cut into bite size pieces.ย
- Serve with the sauce on the side, for dipping.ย
