Hot Honey Glazed Dates with Tahini and Greek Yogurt is a sweet and savory Mediterranean-inspired dessert that combines chewy dates, creamy Greek yogurt, and nutty tahini with a drizzle of hot honey. Perfect for entertaining , this easy recipe delivers bold flavours in under 15 minutes.

Ingredients:ย 

  • 4 tbsp tahini/sesame paste
  • 100g pitted dates
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp Buzz Hot Honey
  • 4 tbsp Greek yogurt
  • Pinch of lemon zest (optional)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (optional)
  • Bread, to serve.ย 

Method:ย 

  1. Prep the dates by tearing them in half down the middle.ย 
  2. Heat a pan over a medium-high heat, and add the butter.ย 
  3. Add the dates and allow to colour, approx 2 mins. Deglaze with the water, and then add the Buzz.
  4. Allow to cook for 1-2 mins until the sauce thickens.ย 
  5. Spread the tahini onto a plate, and spoon the dates on top, with all of the sauce.ย 
  6. Spoon the yogurt on top, and then finish with the lemon zest and olive oil if using, and another drizzle of Buzz. Serve warm with bread, crackers or crostini's.
