Project Yaki is an all-purpose sauce developed in collaboration with Pay Chen — built on the bold, savoury foundation of our Sacha-ish Chili Miso and inspired by classic Japanese tare. It’s umami-packed, tangy-sweet, with a spark of smoky heat, and a glossy finish that caramelizes beautifully.

The word “yaki” (焼き) means “to grill” or “cook over direct heat” in Japanese — but this sauce goes way beyond the BBQ. Use it for brushing, dipping, or drizzling: it’s made for skewers and steaks, but just as good tossed into stir-fries, spooned over roasted veg, or swirled into a noodle bowl.
