Serves 4-6
Prep time: 30 minutes
Cooking time: 25 minutes
Ingredients:
- 400g bread flour
- 320g warm water
- 7g dried yeast
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 tbsp Mogambo Roasted Garlic Condiment
- 2 tbsp shredded Parmesan cheese
Method:
- Add the yeast and sugar to the water, and allow the yeast to dissolve.
- Mix the salt and flour in a bowl, and add the water and yeast mix. Combine, and knead for 5-10 minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic.
- Cover the dough and allow to rise for 1-2 hours until roughly doubled in size.
- Turn the dough out onto an oiled board, and divide into 8 pieces. Put some oil on your hands to stop the dough from sticking. Take a piece of dough, and roll it into a rope shape approx 6 inches long. Tie the piece into a loose knot, and then fold the ends underneath to form a small, tidy ball.
- Place the dough knots onto a tray, cover, and allow to rise for 30-45 minutes to rise.
- Melt the butter, and add the Mogambo, and stir to combine.
- Brush the garlic butter mix on top of the dough knots, and bake at 425f for 10-15 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Brush with the remaining garlic butter, and sprinkle the parmesan on top to serve.
Chefs tip: Don't have the time, or just not bothered to make fresh dough? Store bought pizza dough will work just fine.
