Spicy Roasted Cauliflower

This roasted cauliflower recipe gets a bold kick from Mala Savoury Chili Salt, infusing each crispy bite with tingling heat and deep umami flavor. Perfect as a side or snack, it delivers a spicy, aromatic crunch with a satisfying balance of smokiness and spice.

Prep time: 5 minutes.

Cooking time: 30 minutes

Ingredients: 

  • 1 head of cauliflower
  • 4 tbsp of Mala Savoury Chili Salt
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 420f.
  2. Cut cauliflower into florets. Don't cut them too small - you'll want the cauliflower to retain its texture while cooking. Toss in oil and place on a lined baking sheet. 
  3. Roast until caramelized and just cooked through. Let the cauliflower brown - browner than you’d think. Cauliflower can be a trickster - it can look charred but not taste burnt at all, so don't be shy.
  4. Once its out of the oven, season with the Mala, and serve.
