Chili Crisp Grean Bean and Tofu Salad

This dish brings together fresh, crunchy vegetables with rich, savoury tofu, all balanced by the bold flavours of Hakka-ish Chili Crisp.

Serves 2-4

Prep time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 stalks of celery

  • 2 cups of green beans

  • 1 handful of roasted peanuts

  • 1 tbsp vinegar (any kind will work)

  • 1 piece of firm tofu

  • 2 tbsp Hakka-ish Chili Crisp

Method:

  1. Cut the celery stalks at an angle into 1cm slices.

  2. Trim the stalks off the green beans, and cut in half on an angle, so they’re approximately the same size as the celery. 

  3. Cut the tofu into slices the same size as the green beans and celery. 

  4. Toss the celery, tofu and green beans in the vinegar, and allow to sit for 5-10 minutes so they can absorb the flavours. 

  5. Spoon over the Hakka-ish, and sprinkle over the peanuts and celery tips for garnish.
