Savoury and Smoky Chickpea Salad

This Sundal-inspired chickpea salad combines tender chickpeas with vibrant spices, fresh herbs, and zesty lime for a refreshing and protein-packed dish. Perfect as a light meal or side, it brings South Indian flavours to your kitchen in under 15 minutes.

Ingredients:

1 can of chickpeas

2 tbsp of cooking oil

2 dried red chillies (optional)

½ tsp mustard seeds
-
5-6 curry leaves

3 tbsp Boom Spiced Chili Salt

Small handful of coriander leaves

2-4 lime wedges
Method:

Drain the chickpeas.

Add the oil to a pan, when hot add the curry leaves, mustard seeds, Boom and chillies (if using), then add the chickpeas. Toss together.

Place in a bowl, and sprinkle over a little extra Boom. Garnish with the lime wedges.
